Association of the Haut-Nkam of Quebec City.
Haut-Nkam Québec-ville is the organization that brings together all residents of the Haut-Nkam department in Quebec City. The organization’s official name is “Association du Haut-Nkam de la ville de Québec” (Haut-Nkam Association of Quebec City), and its motto is “Let’s unite our strengths and work on our shortcomings.” The headquarters of Haut-Nkam Québec-ville is located at the Saint-Rodrigue Recreation Centre, 130, 50th Street East.
However, the headquarters address may be moved at any time to any other location designated by a resolution of the general assembly or the executive committee. The working language (for discussions) of Haut-Nkam Québec-ville is French or a dialect of the Haut-Nkam department.
Our mission.
➢ To promote the cultural values of the Haut-Nkam department within the families of its members, in connection with those of the host society in Quebec;
➢ To promote solidarity, mutual support, coexistence, and networking among members, and to foster their personal development through the sharing of ideas and experiences and the strengthening of friendships, with a view to better integration into socio-professional life in Quebec City;
➢ To develop a spirit of openness among members, the host community of Quebec City, and other communities, through intercultural exchanges that promote better understanding and harmonious coexistence;
➢ To encourage members to participate in volunteer activities organized in Quebec City.
➢ To encourage its members to get involved and participate in activities organized by the City of Quebec;
➢ To inform its members about existing resources to facilitate their integration into the City of Quebec.
